It’s that time of the year again where we are spring cleaning and letting the fresh air in as it warms up. Some of us are spring cleaning our bodies too. There are several ways to cleanse our bodies:

Your liver is the largest (3.5 lbs) and most complex organ in the body. It filters 600 liters of blood daily and works very hard each day to not only process the foods you eat and the supplements you take, but also the air you breathe, all the lotions and potions you put on your skin, and even the negative emotions you feel. Yep! Anger, frustration and negativity can easily injure this organ. The liver literally effects almost EVERYTHING in the body.

So remember this next time when you are dealing with any disorder of the body. Your liver must be taken into proper consideration to enable any treatment to be effective. You are probably aware that almost all diseases begin in the digestive system and your liver is a major part of this system.

Here are 7 signs that will let you know that your liver is crying out for help: skin problems, poor digestion, hormonal issues, eye problems, energy issues, thyroid problems and emotional symptoms.

To keep toxicity low, you want to promote ongoing cleansing with a healthy lifestyle. Simple changes are essential to help protect the liver moving forward and reclaim good health.

My experience with Csilla’s food cleanse

Activated charcoal (food grade)

Bamboo activated charcoal is the best kind to use. Charcoal cleans out all heavy metals and chemicals in the body including electromagnetic radiation and radiation illness. Charcoal works so well, I do not recommend using it if taking medications, it will clean out all medications from the body. This is also great as a house purifier. Comes in capsules or powder.

Bentonite Clay

Absorbs heavy metals, free radicals and pesticides, which then is eliminated through usual bodily functions.

Diatomaceous Earth (food grade)

DE is a natural organic colon cleanser and detoxifier. It detoxes heavy metals, parasites, viruses, E. coli, bad bacteria, while keeping beneficial bacteria in the gut; among other health benefits.

Oil Pulling

Supports health of the entire body, especially great for gums and teeth by removing bacteria and reduces gingivitis. Use cold pressed unrefined Coconut or Sesame oil.

Dry Skin Brushing

Pushes toxins out of the lymphatic system to be processed by the liver and kidneys; also helps exfoliate and invigorate the skin.

Tongue Scraping

Clears toxins and bacteria from tongue causing bad breath, gently stimulates the internal organs, promotes oral and digestive health.

As you can see there are many ways to detox the body. Some can be done on a daily basis or one may choose to do a cleanse seasonally
